Meet Liam
Hello, my name is Liam Hignett-Lewis and I am a licensed clinical social worker and the founder of Bridge the Gap: Pittsburgh. One of the first things I tell people who are considering therapy is that it is not an easy process. Finding a provider who is a good fit for you and your needs is the most important step in your therapeutic journey! Allow me to share a bit about myself with you to allow you to decide whether I might be a good fit for you!
Say something about my experience and maybe some funny quips.

NOT ACTUALLY ME THIS IS AI FOR NOW
My Expertise
I operate from a cognitive behavioral therapy (talk therapy) model and incorporate a trauma-informed approach while also bringing aspects of the ecosystemic structural family therapy (ESFT/Family Based) modality to my work. I have extensive experience working with children and adult survivors of physical/sexual/emotional abuse, neglect, combat veterans, community violence, unhoused individuals, adolescent sexual offenders, anxiety, depression, PTSD, larger systems, and collaborating with a variety of providers based on need.
Experience working with children, adults, and families since 2016. I received my undergraduate and graduate degrees in Social Work from the University of Pittsburgh in 2018 and 2022, respectively.
