Our Mission

MISSION STATEMENT HERE

Bridge the Gap: Pittsburgh offers trauma-informed therapy drawing on aspects of cognitive behavioral therapy, trauma therapy, Family Based therapy, coparenting therapy, individual therapy with children, adolescents, and teens. Our approach is designed to create a safe and supportive space for you to explore your experiences and work towards healing and growth.

Meet Liam

Hello, my name is Liam Hignett-Lewis and I am the founder and only therapist here at Bridge the Gap: Pittsburgh.  One of the first things I tell people who are considering therapy is that it is not an easy process.  Finding a provider who is a good fit for you and your needs is the most important step in your therapeutic journey!  Allow me to share a bit about myself with you to allow you to decide whether I might be a good fit for you!

Say something about my experience and maybe some funny quips.  Experience working with children, adults, and families since 2016.  I received my undergraduate and graduate degrees in Social Work from the University of Pittsburgh in 2018 and 2022, respectively.
